Remembering John Myers

It is with great sadness that we announce the death of our Uncle and Chairman, John Myers at the age of 75.

John passed away peacefully on Saturday 18th March, after a lengthy illness which he fought with great dignity and bravery.

John will be fondly remembered as one of life’s big characters. He had a wealth of knowledge and limitless enthusiasm for the industry which he enjoyed sharing with us and countless others within the business.

John, along with his sister Jackie, were instrumental in creating the foundations for the modern-day Myers Group. Although the business continues to evolve he was very proud of his contribution and confident that it will continue to go from strength to strength in the years ahead.

We would like to put on record our thanks to Uncle John for the huge role he played in our lives and in particular the opportunity and support he gave us. We will endeavour to make the most of this by continuing to keep growing the business whilst maintaining those core family business values which he held very dear.

Our thoughts at this time are with his wife, Molly, who has been by his side for 50 years.

John will be sadly missed but fondly remembered.

James & Katie
